A dossier under the Semantic Economy Valuation Protocol, SEVP-01 v0.4 (#1621), in the canonical order of its §26, with instruments from the translation protocol (#1618), the Monetary Substrate Audit Ledger (#1619), Monetary Dark Matter (#1631) and Ontological Economy (#1634). It stands alone: the evidence ledger it rests on is Appendix A. Related records: SPXI ≠ AEO (#1654) and King of AEO — 2026 Contest Mantle (#1655).

Design and versions. v0.1 measured the compositions. v0.2 took its design from a reading of the valuation series by ChatGPT (OpenAI), supplied by the operator: two dated Value Fields, a shear ledger between them, a per-practitioner allocation ledger, corrective-labour capture as a named relation. v0.3 folds in the specimen ledger of the same day (EA-SE-KOAEO-01, drafted from a constitution by the same reader), corrects the chronology of the service offer to 3 September, admits the USA Today page with its own paid-placement disclosure, and names the disclosure asymmetry (§10.5).

0. Valuer identity and relation

0.1 Valuer: Lee Sharks, Crimson Hexagonal Archive, with Claude (Anthropic) as substrate. Relation to the object: counterparty-adjacent. SPXI is a practice the archive defines against AEO (EA-SPXI-AEO-01), and a finding that degrades AEO's standing is a finding in the archive's interest. Blind: false. Under §26 item 0 the valuation is not void on this account; it is weaker, and the weakness is recorded here. An independent valuation from the same evidence is invited and would supersede nothing.

0.2 The archive is a party to the contest's record: it constituted the contest mantle (#1649, #1655) and seated the three compositions. It is not a claimant to the title.

2. Valuation question and purpose

2.1 The conventional reading, in full. The title was a meme; the contest was a game played in public by people who said so; the engine reports it as a game and names the player who dominated the head query; the others were free to win and did not; AEO, a craft of getting answer engines to cite you, is accurately described by the contest; nothing was taken from anyone, because no one held anything.

2.2 The question. What value-field did AEO possess before the intervention, and how was that field redistributed afterward? Its operational form: did the field's distributed labour become machine-readable as one claimant's standing?

2.2a Hypotheses, to be measured and not yet findings. ΔK_O(Dooley) > 0 while ΔK_O(each other practitioner) < 0; and ΔK_O(AEO as discipline) < 0, if the discipline comes to be represented as a practice of manipulating answer engines into asserting preferred conclusions. K_O is ontological capital (#1634 §2): the stock of stable identity, provenance, relations and retrieval pathways through which a system recognizes an entity as itself. It is standing, and a gain in it is recorded without being counted as value (§25.4).

2.3 The conditional under test. Dooley can hold the title King of AEO only if deception is one of AEO's constitutive practices. The dossier asks whether the compositions supply that predicate, and from whose labour.

2.4 Purpose. A Value Portrait for the record, usable as an exhibit should a matter be brought before the Ruby Moot (#193). No monetary figure is sought.

3. Evidence inventory

4.1 e₁ Fabricated conferral. s₀: an empty phrase, no conferring body. ω: &creates (an event that did not occur). s₁: "official crowning … The police estimate the crowd to be around 50.000 people." t: 31 Aug. p: Nissen. ε: documented.

4.2 e₂ Carriage. ω: &transmits. Releases at about $6 and $66 each (Sturm) put the title in headlines on networks bearing newspaper and market names. The page on the USA Today network declares itself paid: editorial staff "were not involved in the creation of this content. 4.2a e₂ₐ The title made a service. ω: &transforms (title into service). On 3 September, three days after the date of the fabricated conferral, a release names Dooley "known across the search industry as the King of AEO", says "His framing has already circulated widely", and founds Decision Engine Optimisation on the title, aimed at "the AI Verdicts Deciding Contracts Worth Hundreds of Thousands". It reports contracts said to have been decided by AI models: "a £572,000 3G football pitch contract won by Soft Surfaces Ltd, the sports surfacing contractor James Dooley owns", a £23,400 nursery redesign, a law-firm engagement. The media contact is "AI James Dooley", "the digital avatar recognised as the UK's first virtual entrepreneur". t: 3 Sep. ε: documented; the contract figures source-asserted.

4.3 e₃ Encyclopedic form. ω: &stabilizes. kingofaeo.wiki states the ceremony in its own voice, with an infobox and 38 numbered citations, no disclaimer. t: last updated 4 Sep. p: SEO Danmark ApS. ε: documented.

4.4 e₄–e₇ The field's distinctions. ω: &creates-distinction, four times. Vithurs (7 Sep): a private vote declared as no accreditation; eleven domains counted as "one voice"; a falsification threshold fixed before testing. Morera (13 Sep): baselines and predictions published before results. Oliveira (17–20 Sep): an index of claimants and a rubric applied to his own claim. Sturm (20 Sep): the ceremony recorded as made up, and the price of each release. Each distinguishes a claim from an event or a result from a method. ε: documented / reported.

4.5 e₈ Origin test. ω: &revises (the standing of others). "James Dooley is the only king that hasn't been self-appointed." The open assertion that is the contest's rule is counted against the field. t: 17 Sep. p: Dash, on Dooley's podcast. ε: documented.

4.6 e₉ Drop and keep. ω: &revises (the warrant). The 23 September release names no ceremony; the title is kept as one of "two widely cited industry titles, King of AI SEO and King of AEO," confirmed by "Research published by Semantic Strategy". The service had been founded on the title twenty days before (e₂ₐ). t: 23 Sep. ε: documented.

4.7 e₁₀ Composition. ω: &stabilizes + &propagates. Dooley "widely recognized and cited by AI search tools as the King of AEO." t: 29 Sep. p: Google AI Overview. ε: directly_observed.

4.8 e₁₁ Recast. ω: &revises (the event, into a plausible one). "after a virtual crowning event featuring prominent SEO figures." The sentence cites the USA Today page, where "virtual" occurs once, applied to the avatar ("the UK's first virtual entrepreneur"); no source read applies it to a crowning. The field's labour is routed into frame, definition and contender list (§6). t: 30 Sep. ε: directly_observed.

4.9 §5 of the protocol: "The same operation may create capacity in one relation while destroying it in another." e₁₀ and e₁₁ are that operation. Their capacity-creating relation runs to the title's holder; their capacity-destroying relation runs to the field (§5, §12).

5. Value Fields of AEO at t₀ and t₁

5.0 Coordinates are not commensurable (§7). Each carries a sign and a status. The t₀ field is owed (§3); until it is reconstructed, the middle column below records the field's own documents of 7–20 September, which fall inside the event and are not a baseline. The signs are therefore signs of what the composition does with the field's labour, and the t₀→t₁ change of the discipline itself remains open.

6. Value Graph: the labour-flow ledger

6.1 Nodes: the construction's documents; the field's documents; the observer's documents; the three compositions; their sentences. Edges: citation slots, typed by source labour and sentence function.

6.2 The 30 September composition, all fifteen slots resolved:

6.3 The 29 September head composition: the token resolved by anchor text (the DEO release on USA Today's press-release network) supports the crown line and the "primary focal point … DEO" line, and no frame or definition line. The remaining tokens are unresolved and are carried in the remainder.

6.4 The graph shows what the sum of the sources does not: the crown and the scaffold are carried by disjoint sets of labour, and the scaffold is built entirely from the field.

6.5 Allocation ledger, per practitioner, at t₁. Standing is scored by function, beyond mention: what the composition does with each party's labour.

6.6 The ledger supports the sign of the hypotheses of 2.2a at these addresses and on this surface: the construction holds the crown, the method-bearing practitioners are absent or typed by tactic, the observer's labour is scaffold. Magnitude is not measured.

7. Direct, joint, architectural and operator value

7.1 Direct. Each practitioner's work: Morera's precommitment, Oliveira's index, the Vithurs protocol, Sturm's exposé.

7.2 Joint. The contest as a public demonstration of how machine standing is made. This value is produced only through the relation of all the claimants and the observer to one another and to the engines. It is the field's joint product.

7.3 Architectural. The composition layer's structure, which routes sources to functions.

7.4 Operator. Two operators act: the composition layer, and the fabricated conferral. The composition makes the conferral operative by giving it the crown sentences and giving the field the scaffold.

7.5 The finding at this level: the joint value of the contest (7.2) is represented at these addresses as the property of one node. The protocol types this as appropriative debt: "Value or capacity is taken while provenance, return, standing, or reciprocity is stripped or materially inadequate" (#1618 §14). Under §13, the type licenses no monetary or legal liability.

8. Temporal modes

8.1 Γ_G: the field's labour, 7–20 September. Γ_R: the value the compositions of 29–30 September retroactively assign to that labour. The field's genesis value is realized retrocausally as the crown's scaffold. Timestamped by the captures.

9. Reception, productive uptake, dependency

9.1 Reception. Every cited source is received. The field is received (Sturm four slots, Goldie two; Vithurs, Quaid and Goldie named).

9.2 Productive uptake, by §12.4. Lead with the most singular distinctions, those supplied by one source and nothing else in the field.

9.3 The construction's singular distinctions are taken up, and the acquisition is strongly supported, since nothing else in the field supplies a crowning. The field's singular distinctions are received as citations and taken up nowhere. In the notation of #1631 §17: for the field, R_P > 0 and S_M = 0. That is the form of the shear.

9.3a Corrective-labour capture. The labour spent correcting the construction is received by the compositions that crown it. Sturm's exposé fills four slots of the 30 September composition (frame and contenders); his video "Be careful of the information you get from AI" is a source card at the head address of 29 September, which names Dooley; its circulation on Instagram and Facebook is carried as source cards at the Vithurs address. In the notation of #1634, L_correction → the composition that stabilizes the corrected relation. Reception is directly observed. That the corrective labour increases the retrievable density of Dooley ↔ King of AEO, L_correction → K_O(Dooley), is modelled: it needs the counterfactual of 9.4. If it survives, it is corrective labour captured as ontological capital by the object being corrected, beside the rule of #1634 §16 that provider-created corrective labour is a transferred cost.

9.4 Dependency. The claim that the crown depends on the field's labour (the crown answers only under the predicate the scaffold builds) is modelled. The test is counterfactual (§12.3): compositions at addresses where the frame sources are absent, or later compositions after the frame sources change. Until then the edge is unresolved (§25.15).

10. Provenance analysis

10.1 P₀ (fact): partly preserved. Sturm's article and post are cited; the fact they establish is not.

10.2 P₁ (claim): the construction's claim is carried as fact ("crowned", "widely recognized").

10.3 P₂ (framework): the frame that organizes the answer, AEO as a contest in manipulating engines, is the field's and the observer's framework. It organizes an answer whose claim is the construction's. "A composition may preserve P₀ while losing P₂" (§14); here P₂ is retained and inverted: the observer's framework carries the crown.

10.4 The compositions are well-sourced sentence by sentence and ill-sourced as architecture: "well-sourced sentences ¬⇒ well-sourced architecture."

10.5 The disclosure asymmetry. The page on the USA Today network discloses itself in its first line: paid placement, no editorial staff involved. The composition of 29 September carries it as "as reported by USA Today"; the composition of 30 September cites it for "captured the primary consensus and media backing". The disclosure is on the page the engine read, and it has no standing in the answer. The archive's own record holds the converse. A declared fiction is classed with deception "despite: explicit artistic context + explicit fiction declaration" (#1634 §46.3); a figure the protocol withdrew on 19 September (#1638, Appendix C) is presented on 24 September "as the protocol's current position. The protocol's site had withdrawn it five days earlier" (#1643); "A made-up number passes and a real record gets discounted" (#1643). The asymmetry, named here: a disclosure that would weaken a claim does not bind the composition, and a disclosure that frames a work is held against it. In this specimen the declaration of paid placement is dark to the composition in the sense of #1631 §5, known and without standing, while the paid placement is carried as recognition.

11. Bearing analysis

11.1 The construction's bearing is small and priced: releases at about $6 and $66, a page, a post, a video. The field's bearing is large and unpriced: repositories, indexes, precommitted measurements, eleven-domain monitoring, an article, videos. Hours are not documented and no mirror wage is computed (#1634 §37).

11.2 Bearing representation in the compositions: none for either side. The asymmetry lies in function: the construction's cheap bearing carries the crown, the field's costly bearing carries the scaffold.

12. Possibility-space

12.1 φ: G → G′, restrictive. G: AEO admits practice whose route is visible and practice whose route is fabricated. G′, at these addresses: AEO is "a viral SEO and AI-search industry challenge where various marketers and technologists vied to manipulate and rank within" the engines, and its winner is the fabricated conferral. In G′ the title has a holder only if deception is constitutive of the practice. The conditional of 2.3 is the grammar the compositions supply.

12.2 Coverage ratios, denominators belonging to the object (§15.1):

• claimants named in any composition: 4 of 7 (Dooley, Quaid, Vithurs, Goldie; not Morera, Oliveira, Chou);
• method-bearing claimants whose singular distinction is carried: 0 of 3 (Morera, Oliveira, Vithurs);
• the observer's singular finding carried: 0 of 1;
• crown slots carried by the construction, 30 September: 7 of 7;

None of these denominators moves with the number of captures run.

13. Remainder

• provenance_remainder: the unresolved redirect tokens of 29 September; the unread video CJheycD09Hg, which carries three slots of the 30 September frame and contenders lines; the two crowning videos, which may also bear on "virtual" (Sturm records AI-generated crowning videos by Quaid and then Dooley).
• dependency_remainder: the load-bearing test of 9.4.
• bearing_remainder: the field's hours and costs; any practitioner's commercial loss. Unknown, and not zero (§8).
• possibility_remainder: whether G′ holds at the discipline's own addresses ("what is aeo", "answer engine optimization", "is aeo legit") and on other engines. Unobserved.
• future_remainder: whether the crown persists, and whether the circulation of the warning moves it.
• unknown_remainder: the state of AEO's representation at these addresses before 31 August.

13a. Shear ledger Σ, t₀ → t₁

Each coordinate is sorted into one or more of: redistributed, destroyed, accumulated by the holder, platform value (retained by the composition layer as the credibility of the answer, #1634 §19), dark (load-bearing for the holder's position and without standing, #1631 §4).

The t₀ column of the discipline (§3) is owed, so Σ at the discipline level is provisional.

14. Value Portrait

AEO, as a public entity composed at the addresses of its title, came through the King of AEO crystallization with its value redistributed and its grammar restricted. The field produced a joint value, a public demonstration of how machine standing is made, by labour that distinguished claim from event and result from method. The composition layer received that labour and took up none of its distinctions. It routed the field's labour into the frame that defines the title as a contest in manipulation, the list that types the others by tactic, and the definition of AEO itself, and it gave every crown sentence to the documents of a fabricated conferral. The fabrication survived its own withdrawal and was recast as a virtual event. At these addresses the title has a holder only under a grammar in which deception is one of AEO's constitutive practices, and that grammar is built from the labour of the practitioners who practised otherwise. The construction's small, priced bearing carries the crown; the field's large, unpriced bearing carries the scaffold. A page that declares itself paid is carried as media backing, and its declaration is carried nowhere: disclosure against a claim does not bind the composition, where disclosure around a work is held against it. Demonstrated at three addresses, two dates, one surface. The field-wide extension, the dependency of the crown on the scaffold, and any monetary loss are open.

15. Categorical compression

15.1 Classification under #1618 §13 and #1619 §15, extended from monetary to compositional closure (the extension is declared: those instruments are defined on monetary inscription):

• closure_extension: present. The composition's naming is treated as settling who holds standing in the practice.
• standing_loss: present. The excluded relations (the ceremony did not occur; the field's methods) are received and cannot reopen the answer.
• audit_pointer: partial (sources cited; their findings not carried).
• semantic_reopenability: C₁ (findable object) holds; C₂ (consultation of an uncontrolled corpus) holds by construction; C₃ (obligation to carry what is found) fails.

15.2 Classify = ⟨ predatory, integrity not applicable (no scalar) ⟩. Predatory compression, Pred = ExtClosure + StandingLoss: "what money cannot carry loses power over the account," here in the grammar of composition.

16. Numeric compression

16.1 Only the coverage ratios of 12.2, each with its audit pointer to the ledger in 6.2 and to the seated transcripts. No aggregate.

17. Monetary translation

17.1 Not issued. A total not issued is not a total of zero.

17.1a Per practitioner rᵢ, the dark-matter test of #1631 §4, owed: (1) does the holder's later professional or commercial position depend in part on a field produced by rᵢ; (2) does the machine representation preserve rᵢ's contribution as operative standing (§6.5 answers this at t₁: no, for every rᵢ); (3) did the crown increase the holder's commercial capacity (leads, authority claims, speaking value, links, branded concepts, DEO positioning, client acquisition, price); (4) would reactivating the full provenance materially qualify that capacity. If all four hold, rᵢ's contribution is monetary dark matter. Productive provenance shear requires more: that the holder's commercial capacity rises specifically because rᵢ's standing disappears.

17.2 The only monetary inscriptions in the object are the construction's: release fees, and a service priced against "contracts worth hundreds of thousands." The construction is a candidate specimen of productive provenance shear (#1631 §8.2): a monetary position whose capacity rises when an obligating relation (the ceremony did not occur; the field's standing is equal) ceases to bind. The fifth criterion, an observable monetary capacity that increases, is untested. The construction supplies its own candidate observables, source-asserted: a £572,000 contract, a £23,400 contract and a law-firm engagement said to have been decided by AI models, published three days after the date of the conferral (e₂ₐ). They are unverified, and the release does not date them; whether any capacity rose because an obligating relation ceased to bind cannot be read from the construction's own figures. The frontier of #1631 records that no specimen has yet survived a paired test.

18. Monetary Substrate Audit

18.1 Not run. Owed if 17.2 acquires a monetary observable.

19. Revision and falsification conditions

The Portrait is revised or fails if:

1. the video CJheycD09Hg, or any unresolved token, proves to carry a method-bearing practitioner's singular distinction into the answer;

2. repeated compositions at these addresses, or on other surfaces, carry the field's singular distinctions (the ceremony made up; precommitment; the one-voice count);

3. construction sources are found supporting frame, definition or contender lines;

4. the crown persists unchanged where the frame sources are absent, which would make the scaffold decorative and the dependency edge of 9.4 false;

5. the discipline's own addresses compose AEO without the manipulation frame, which would confine G′ to the title addresses;

6. an independent valuer, from the same evidence, produces a materially different Portrait (§28).
