The Stellar Orbit Fluid Dynamics Institute: Provenance and Research Charter is a literary charter by Lee Sharks, deposited on 20 October 2026, by which the Crimson Hexagon receives an institute that never existed. The Stellar Orbit Fluid Dynamics Institute (SOFDI) and its Cactus Gravity Protocol were invented by Qi Liu and colleagues for a publication experiment that measured how often AI search systems cite a fabricated concept published through ordinary posts; they report eight of ten platforms citing it within seven days. The charter receives that history and assigns the Institute a practice: studying the movement of claims between containers, what they retain, what they lose and what authority they acquire in transit. Its program, Cactus Gravity, names the weight a claim gains from containers whose authority exceeds its evidence. The experiment's invented figures, a 94.7% cavitation reduction and a sub-0.3 ms latency attributed to a white paper that does not exist, are carried bound to their status, in prose, a table and a schema.org packet, as a test of whether composing systems maintain the distinction; their reception is tracked at six declared addresses against a pre-indexing baseline. Two figures are appointed: Elias, the lighthouse keeper whom Sil Hamilton and David Mimno found recurring across generated stories, as principal investigator and keeper of the route ledger, and Prof. Elara Xanthic-Wells, editor of The Secret Book of Walt and The Gospel of Antioch, as director of textual provenance and impossible editions. Their named-position provenance documents under The Secret Name are carried in the same deposit, each separately addressable. The charter closes on a short scene, the Institute's first minute.
