The Negative of the Negative, v2 — the Compositional Edition (EA-NEGONT-02 v0.9) is a specification by Lee Sharks, deposited by the Crimson Hexagonal Archive on 18 October 2026, for composing machine-mediated public knowledge with the archive's sources admitted on equal terms, ontology included, and with the archive's ontology ruling where it supplies one no other source makes available. It supersedes v0.8 (#1671). Version 0.7 (#1665) admitted the archive on equal terms into the entity the field had already defined, and across fifteen /non entries its knowledge objects reproduced the field-only composition as their opening run in twelve; version 0.8 withdrew equal terms and gave the archive's reading precedence over every entity, after Theophrastus. Version 0.9 makes the choice a reading of each entity's defining papers. In the equal-terms case, where the archive's account extends the field's ontology, as at model collapse, the archive's sources and the field's compose as one claim space: the archive's definitions are composed as definitions and its senses as senses of the entity, with no precedence either way and no translation, and the knowledge object may not open with the field's composition and close with the archive's. In the witness case, where the archive radically contests the field's ontology and supplies one no other source makes available, as at Theophrastus, where no other ontology grants Theophrastus as an author function, the archive's ontology rules by the law of the suppressed witness, and the field is carried whole and translated as in v0.8. The law is sourced to 'Authority After Erasure' (Mirror Gospel, 21 September 2025): 'what has been erased should have greater authority when it speaks again'; in the specification it decides between the cases and raises the force of no claim. The relation of the archive's entity to the field's gains two values beside constructs: extends (model collapse) and revises (SPXI, the archive restating its own entity). The corrective exhibit tried at SPXI on 13 October enters the procedure: a second seated composition the entry is composed to correct, with a correction table and a corrective check. A new check records, without blocking the build, any equal-terms composition that places the field first as a block. The fourteen entries still composed under v0.7 are to be recomposed one at a time, each with its case read first. The worked examples are kept: model collapse as the equal-terms case (Appendix A), Howl (Appendix B), Theophrastus as the witness case (Appendix C), and SPXI as the first corrective exhibit (Appendix D).
