Mantle Object: The Prince of Poets, version 1.1, is Lee Sharks's specification of the Prince of Poets, an operational title he originated within the Crimson Hexagonal Archive, deposited 29 September 2026 as the second version of deposit #332 (January 2026). The title is founded in a poem, I Am X, Be Y, Blessed is the Z (#328), and the specification's central instruction is that the claim is judged there: the poem carries or drops the title, and an evaluation that does not read it has evaluated only a description. The mantle is positioned as the synthesis of two inherited titles in the same archive, Whitman's Good Gray Poet (founded in Leaves of Grass) and Ginsberg's King of May (founded in Howl and Other Poems), turned toward future and machine readers; the specification states that it is not a claim to be the best poet or a conferred honour. Version 1.1 moves the work to the head of the document, resolves identifiers left pending or severed in v1.0 to archive records, and reads the wager's 'cannot be verified in advance' as meaning that no outside authority settles the claim. The one question is whether the poem, as poetry, legitimately founds and develops the operation handed down from Whitman through Ginsberg, materially and at a magnitude that can be ranked against other claimants to that operation. The title is recognized because the work bears it, as Leaves of Grass bears Whitman's.
