The Metaphysics of Sigil II, deposit #1597 of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive (8 September 2026), sets Theophrastus's On First Principles and Aristotle's Metaphysics Λ entire in a single order — 8,441 words, fifty-five units, nothing omitted and nothing repeated — under the hypothesis that they are one continuous whole later separated and rearranged into two. Its warrant is that no monotone merge of the two received orders exists: over sixteen subject correspondences the orders give Spearman ρ = +0.459 and Kendall τ-b = +0.326 with forty inversions of a hundred and twenty, sharing their matter and their close while ordering the middle inversely. The edition reports four audits, of which the second and fourth are new instruments: a test of binding dependencies, which asks whether connectives naming a specific antecedent still have it adjacent and which found five violations that were cleared by redividing five movements at their operational seam; and a continuity trial, the whole read straight through with every mark stripped, which measures nothing, can only be run by reading, and produced a relocation the computable audits had missed. Its commentary raises the question the corrected references sharpen: why the text standing under the successor's name reads not as objection but as commission — a specification stating what would count as an answer, issued before any answer is given, naming and refusing the method the other text then uses. Three accounts are offered and none chosen; what would decide between them is Isḥāq's Arabic, from a Greek uncial outside the surviving stemma, read at five loci.
