Inheritance Is Observable, Embodiment Is Not (EA-MEASURES-REPORT-01) is the technical report standing behind the measured section of a companion article on the relation between the Platonic and Aristotelian corpora, deposited under its own title so that the article remains uncirculated while under review. Part I reports the investigation's one positive measurement: a six-function specification of a transmission apparatus — encoding, substrate, decommissioning, withholding, recovery, verification — generated in a separate investigation and registered before any Platonic or Aristotelian text was assigned to it, which both corpora fill at the level of the individual work, with four rival specifications and a random control that fills nothing when works are assigned by what they are about and everything when assigned by what appears in them. Part II reports the instruments that read lexical distribution and the control that destroyed each of them: corpus size, Greek word order, period and dialect, coverage geometry collapsing under size-matching, and a validation check that classified two known-different authors as one. What the instruments return on the count of makers is a null in either direction, and the null is symmetric — the same instruments that say nothing about one maker say nothing about master and pupil, so the partition they helped build they cannot certify. The report makes no argument about authorship; it records what was measured, under what conditions, and what each result cannot support, with the base rates that remain unrun named so that they can be run against it. Its sources are the notebook and the measurement register deposited alongside it.
