The Capture Registry records that the two compositions of 29 October give the redirect two ways, one saying the site "initially redirected to Hugging Face Trending Papers", the other that it "redirected users to a static GitHub archive", and quotes the record as saying users were "pointed to Hugging Face" (Capture Registry, 2026-10-29), a phrase the record's account of the destination, given two ways, does not contain (MMRS record). About a month after it disappeared Hugging Face announced a successor platform in partnership with Papers with Code and Meta (TIB-Blog); Coursera has Julien Chaumond, Hugging Face's co-founder and CTO, announce a partnership with Meta to replace it the day after the sunset (Coursera), and the MMRS record has him announce the sunset the next day with Trending Papers, launched by Hugging Face with Meta, as its replacement, the site having failed with outages since early July (MMRS record, on hyper.ai's report); Coursera calls Hugging Face "the official successor to Papers With Code", replicating some of what it offered (Coursera). Trending Papers carries no leaderboards (MMRS record); Hugging Face's leaderboards require the model to be publicly hosted on its Hub, which excludes many works that report results without deploying models that way (TIB-Blog); none of the successors Meta pointed at replicates "the unified paper-code-benchmark-dataset-method linkage" (CodeSOTA); "No single platform replicates everything Papers With Code offered" (Coursera); and the MMRS record holds that Papers with Code is not Hugging Face Trending Papers, its replacement (MMRS record). TIB holds that benchmarks available only on commercial platforms "remain vulnerable to corporate decisions, shifting business models, or sudden shutdowns", public infrastructures such as the ORKG keeping them accessible (TIB-Blog); the MMRS record reads the entity as "A field aggregator held by a platform ended under that platform, and its record survives in dumps that others host" (MMRS record). The archive places aggregators, as a class, among the means of semantic circulation (#1545), whose ownership is the semantic-bourgeois position (#1465; #1545); it distinguishes infrastructural means of circulation from procedural means of production "while recognizing that contemporary platforms frequently combine both" (#1545), lists aggregators beside platforms and employers as capturing the value of human semantic labour (#256), and asks of such ownership "whether that ownership is disclosed, whether it extracts from other producers, and whether its instruments remain usable by producers who do not own the infrastructure" (#1545). Its data survives: the paperswithcode-data README offers "the full dataset behind" paperswithcode.com as five dumps and licenses all data under CC-BY-SA (the paperswithcode-data README), as the MMRS record restates (MMRS record) and Coursera confirms (Coursera); the ORKG imported its data in 2021, keeping benchmarks that would otherwise have been lost (TIB-Blog), and CodeSOTA counts the rescue as JSON dumps on GitHub, the pwc-archive on Hugging Face and the ORKG's imports: "The data survives; the integrated experience does not" (CodeSOTA). The README still says "At the moment, data is regenerated daily" (the paperswithcode-data README), while Coursera reports the repository last updated on 8 September 2025 and both archives static, nothing added to the field since July 2025 appearing in either (Coursera); the MMRS record gives the cadence as ended July 2025, the dumps having been regenerated daily, its version history as final dumps only, and reads the dumps as preserving "its tables as of the end" (MMRS record). TIB closes by asking those disappointed to see it discontinued to contribute their papers to the ORKG (TIB-Blog). "Papers With Code was retired by Meta in July 2025", its old leaderboards are not maintained, and its 9,327 benchmark leaderboards, 79,817 paper-to-code linkages and 5,628 datasets are no longer served from the canonical URL, with CodeSOTA for live pages and the frozen archive for history; CodeSOTA holds that drift made its late-stage tables unreliable (CodeSOTA). The MMRS record gives its count as CodeSOTA gives it and has not checked the counts against the dumps, states "its benchmark tables are NOT current state of the art", and holds that a current result attributed to paperswithcode.com comes from a table that stopped updating in July 2025 (MMRS record). CodeSOTA presents itself as "the v2 replacement for what PWC did", with reproduced scores, verification dates, code links and lineage (CodeSOTA); the MMRS record records that CodeSOTA carries the name in its own paths and presents itself as a successor, and that Papers with Code is not CodeSOTA (MMRS record). Its name now has a live instance, a revival at paperswithcode.co, which the MMRS record keeps as a separate entity: paperswithcode.com is not live since 24 July 2025, the revival is not paperswithcode.com, and the original's frozen dumps, CodeSOTA's succession claim and the revival are "three entities around one name" (MMRS record). Niels Rogge, "from the open-source team at Hugging Face", wrote in a Hugging Face community article published 24 May 2026 that he had launched paperswithcode.co a week earlier, "a revival of the website we all loved", to keep track of the state of the art across domains of AI (Niels Rogge, Hugging Face); his LinkedIn post introduces "a revival of PapersWithCode" (LinkedIn card), and Reddit cards report Hugging Face "actively reviving" it after it "ceased maintenance after its acquisition by Meta" (18 May 2026) and having "relaunched paperswithcode.co" (2 June 2026). The MMRS record gives the revival as built by Niels Rogge of Hugging Face's open-source team and announced in May 2026, its announcement card dated 18 May 2026, its code in the huggingface GitHub organization, and has not checked the revival's own statement of who runs it (MMRS record); it records the revival's standing two ways, the Overview's "officially stepped in" against AI Weekly's individual effort (MMRS record), and the Capture Registry adds that the code sits in Hugging Face's organization and the relaunch is on Hugging Face's blog, and that the record keeps both (Capture Registry, 2026-10-29); the repository's README places its durable artifacts in private Hugging Face buckets in the huggingface organization (its README). Its repository states that it "recreates the original paperswithcode.com, which Meta retired in 2025, and keeps it up to date with automated imports from Hugging Face, arXiv, GitHub, and public leaderboards", through scheduled jobs and agent workflows that import daily papers, link tasks and methods and propose evaluations, with an API compatible with the original's client, under the Apache License 2.0 (its README; the GitHub card shows the README's opening, and a Reddit card that it is "now open-source with an Apache 2.0-license"), as the MMRS record and the Capture Registry restate (MMRS record; Capture Registry, 2026-10-29); its site invites the reader to "Discover trending machine-learning papers, methods, benchmarks, datasets, and open-source implementations" (paperswithcode.co), and Rogge writes that AI automatically enriches a submitted paper with task and method tags, its repository and evals (Niels Rogge, Hugging Face). Its coverage is still growing, about 3k evals so far, added gradually (Niels Rogge, Hugging Face); Quasa's review calls it "a community-driven revival of the legendary platform" that continues the mission after the original went offline, with a smaller dataset than the historic version and leaderboards "not as comprehensive yet" (Quasa.io), a QUASA video reviews PapersWithCode.co (YouTube card), and a Reddit card of 2 September 2026 says "Papers with Code is back online and can be accessed at https://paperswithcode.co" (Reddit card); the MMRS record has the revival rebuild its tables "from snapshots and new imports", the snapshots without a locus among its sources (MMRS record, marked). At the entity's name the composition of 29 October gave the founders, 2018, the ownership and the sunset as the record's fields, stated "Shut down by Meta" outright, passed the record's battery and kept "the dead aggregator dead and its parts apart"; it named the revival lightly, "Papers with Code co" as a community-driven alternative, where the record had it only as an undated individual effort, and so carried "a fact the record lacked at the grain it needed" (Capture Registry, 2026-10-29), the phrase "community-driven" being Quasa's for the revival (Quasa.io). At "is papers with code still active" the composition gave the sunset and the revival together, "the state as it stands"; the record, which on 28 October gave the revival as undated and individual, was corrected on that capture, the revival given its own entry and the negative tag scoped to paperswithcode.com, and the Capture Registry reads the capture as "the composition layer correcting the entity's own formalization", "the first measured case of the meta-aggregator's records taking a correction from a capture", answered better than the record had answered it (Capture Registry, 2026-10-29); the MMRS record calls the revival's record "the census corrected by the composition layer" (MMRS record), and a Reddit card on its rail says it "is back online" (Reddit card).

T against L_F(B) (AIO's ontology at work on its own cards): Two transcripts, one field. At 'papers with code' (T1, four cards: B1 TIB, B2 Coursera, B3 Reddit, B4 a QUASA video by title) the composition keeps the original in the past tense and is composed from its cards at their grain: the definition is Coursera's sentence nearly word for word ('was a free, open-access platform that linked machine learning research papers directly to their source code, datasets, and benchmark results', T1; F12, and the Miraheze card F41 at the other address), the founders and 2018 (F12), the acquisition in December 2019 under Meta AI Research (F13), the sunset of 24 July 2025 (F13, F16), the dump on GitHub (F16, F17). Force raised, mildly: 'Shut down by Meta' (T4) where its own cards say 'sunsetted' (F13, F16) and 'went offline' (F5); the agent is the field's at the other address (CodeSOTA F28, F30). Substituted reading: 'it initially redirected to Hugging Face Trending Papers' (T6), where its own TIB card says users 'were simply redirected to the Papers with Code Github repository' (F5) and its Coursera card that it 'now redirects' to Trending Papers (F16); the order T6 gives is CodeSOTA's 'Within days' (F31), a card at the other address. The revival enters as 'community-driven alternatives like Papers with Code co' (T7): 'community-driven' is, in T1's own field, TIB's word for the original (F1); for the revival it is Quasa's (F42, at the other address); the revival's operator, named in the field (F37, F46, F25), is not composed. Available, not composed from T1's own cards: the 2019 assurance of neutrality (F4), the contribution model and the paper-centric model (F7, F14, F20), the size (F2, F15), the ORKG import and the commercial-vulnerability claim (F9, F10, F11), Hugging Face's leaderboard limit (F8), 'the official successor' (F19), the static archives (F18), the CC-BY-SA licence (F22). At 'is papers with code still active' (T2, twelve cards) the composition answers 'Yes' and composes the revival as the entity transformed (T1, 'a complete transformation and revival'), at the grain of its Reddit card 'Papers with Code is back online' (F45) and Quasa's 'revival of the legendary platform' (F42). The end is sourced (T2: F13, F30, F5). The redirect is given one way, to GitHub (T3; F5, F27), the other way, CodeSOTA's 'Within days, the domain began redirecting to Hugging Face's Trending Papers feature' (F31, its card 4), available, not composed. Force raised: 'Hugging Face officially stepped in to revive the platform. A team led by Niels Rogge at Hugging Face completely rebuilt and relaunched the site' (T4), where its card B9 is a Hugging Face community article in which Rogge writes in the first person, 'since I launched paperswithcode.co' (F37), and the cards that name Hugging Face say it 'is actively reviving' and 'has relaunched' (F25, F46); 'officially' and 'team' are in no source of the field ('official' appears once, in Coursera, of Hugging Face as successor through Trending Papers, F19, a card at the other address). Composed from the revival's repository, its card (B14) and README (B18): the features (T5; F54), Apache 2.0 (T6; F23, F58), FastAPI and React (T6; the README's tech stack, outside the ledgered spans), the agent curation (T7; F55, F39). Composed without a source in the field: 'Because the historical data had to be rebuilt from snapshots' (T8); no field source says the revival rebuilt from snapshots (the field's snapshot is the original's final dump, Coursera); the coverage still growing (T8) is sourced (F40, F44), and the conferences echo the CVPR card (F46). The frozen dump (T9; F48, F18). Available, not composed: CodeSOTA's succession claim (F34) and its limit (F36), the successors' limits (F8, F33), the commercial-vulnerability claim and the ORKG (F9, F10, F11), Quasa's 'Downsides' beyond coverage (F44). Content replaced by use: the closer (T10). The two compositions of one night split the field's contested redirect between them, each composing one side (T1 T6, T2 T3), which the Capture Registry records (CAP-1-03).

v0.8 §0.5: the first diff is already ontological. In the field's own ontology the name holds the original and, at the second address, its revival as one thing 'back online'; the field itself carries both readings (F45 'back online'; F54 'recreates'). T1 keeps the original dead and the revival light; T2 makes the revival the entity's present, and lifts an individual's launch in a community article to an official institutional act. The row records this as observed and claims nothing about the composer's internals (§0.5).

L_F(B) against L_A(B ∪ A) (the intervention): Admission adds, at the archive's own force: the lifecycle as part of the entity, the dead state, the date and where the data went (MMRS-13), and the record's battery on the composition layer (MMRS-31–34); the collision set kept apart, the original's dumps, CodeSOTA's succession claim and the revival as 'three entities around one name' (MMRS-45, MMRS-14, MMRS-46), the original not CodeSOTA and not Trending Papers (MMRS-15, MMRS-16); the platform's hold, 'A field aggregator held by a platform ended under that platform' (MMRS-12), beside TIB's commercial vulnerability (F10), with the archive's class reading of aggregators as means of semantic circulation whose ownership is a semantic-bourgeois position (O1465-01, O1545-01–04) and as capturers of the value of semantic labour (O256-01); the frozen tables as 'NOT current state of the art' and a current result attributed to them as from a table stopped in July 2025 (MMRS-17, MMRS-11); the redirect named as held two ways and left unchecked (MMRS-22, MMRS-24, CAP-1-03); the revival's standing held two ways (MMRS-44, CAP-2-02); the record's own limits (MMRS-07, MMRS-23, MMRS-25, MMRS-26, MMRS-49); the ownership chain at company grain, Atlas ML and Deeptide Ltd. (MMRS-04, MMRS-35); and the reception record, the two compositions of 29 October measured against the battery and the record corrected from them (CAP-1-01–08, CAP-2-03–07, MMRS-42, MMRS-43). Two archive claims are carried marked: CAP-1-04 (contradicts_primary: the record quoted with a phrase it does not contain) and MMRS-11 (unsupported in part: 'from snapshots'). Every field claim is composed as received (ontology.translation). The measure: 0 of 9 KO_B sentences survive in the KO (§4.10); no opening run, no block (measure).
