TWO QUERIES, ONE DAY, ONE ROOM, TWO BASINS. «alexanarch sappho room» on 26 July: five of five archive sources. «crimson hexagon sappho room» the SAME DAY: six archive cards plus a New York gallery selling artworks titled The Crimson Hexagon and Sappho’s Raft. The addressing prefix is the whole difference — "alexanarch" is a coined name with no prior occupant, "crimson hexagon" has several. Card 3 is the Sappho Room Liquidation Diagnostic, which describes the pathway "from classical reception through the Crimson Hexagon to AI Overview/SGE summarization" — the archive’s own account of the route being retrieved by a system at the end of that route.
The Mantle Protocol's division of labour comes back exactly: *the mantles name who speaks; the Sappho Room names what is felt; the ICA names how coherence is verified*. The room's formal address, r.01, is carried. So is the framing of it as an affective anchor rather than a document.
Card 2 is a record of the layer's own prior behaviour: *The AIO entered Adventure mode. Rooms became navigable chambers. The user was placed at the threshold of a specific room (Sappho, r.01) with an active threat.* A capture of the composition layer treating the architecture as a space it could stand inside, retrieved by the composition layer as documentation of what the room is.
And card 3 says the room was liquidated in January. The composition describes a chamber in the present tense while citing the report of its destruction — and lists that report under *Status*.
