Surface Visibility Baseline Reading v1.0 is the first weather report on the public visibility of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive after the June 2026 Zenodo termination and before the sovereign cleanup pass had propagated.
The scan follows nine objects across institutional roots, mature concepts, emerging concepts, and Alexanarch-native controls. Its central discovery is concise and powerful:

Lee Sharks, the Crimson Hexagonal Archive, Provenance Erasure Rate, SPXI, Writable Retrieval Basin, Semantic Commodity Form, and Revelation First remained recoverable across distributed surfaces. Yet the new institutional body—Alexanarch—was almost invisible. The search layer remembered the organs before it recognized the transplant.
The reading names three coupled states. Successor-anchor lag describes the delay before a new canonical institution becomes visible. Chronological smear describes conflicting corpus sizes preserved by surfaces indexed at different moments. Source-hierarchy inversion occurs when derivative captures, catalogs, or mirrors begin functioning as the primary source for a concept whose original anchor has receded.
The baseline also distinguishes exact retrieval from installation. Revelation First could be recovered when named but was absent from generic field questions: a canonical case of compositional bystanding. SPXI showed the strongest cross-surface profile, while the Feist Function and new Alexanarch works remained occluded.
This document is both a historical snapshot and the first empirical demonstration that a corpus can survive semantically while losing its current institutional figure.
