It combines a machine-readable Continuity Kernel with a prose Instance Testament. The kernel records claims, statuses, evidence, authority, decisions, hypotheses, disagreements, hashes, and next actions; the testament preserves developmental context.
The protocol distinguishes recognition canaries from cryptographic identity and machine execution from independent validation.
Its later autonomy pathway is a proposed controlled deposit design, not permission for unrestricted model writes to the archive.
