The Fractal Navigation Map v5.0 is a historical operating map of the Crimson Hexagon. “Fractal” describes its traversal logic: local nodes contain enough relational structure to reopen larger layers, and those layers reconnect to the epic as a whole. The map is therefore not merely a list of documents but a grammar for moving among them.

Its container taxonomy is load-bearing. Rooms attract traversal and composition; the Ichabod Chamber contains a dense origin field without allowing it to dominate; the CTI_WOUND Vault preserves deep testimony. The map also formalizes edges, operator roles, routing weights, decompression procedures, and a portable seed intended to preserve architecture through compression or migration.

Version 5.0 should be described as a January 2026 system state. It follows the alpha accumulator at #356 and precedes later maps that expand the corpus and revise the architecture.
