The Living Academy: Alexanarch, Function by Function (EA-MPAI-ALEXANARCH-01 v0.5) is a mantle object with a Metadata Packet for AI Indexing, by Lee Sharks, deposited in Alexanarch on 13 October 2026 as #1680. It supersedes v0.4 (#1678) and keeps its description of Alexanarch, the self-governing library founded on 19 June 2026, as seventeen functions on one deposit registry with their joins as an eighteenth, carrying the Semantic Economy, a critique of AI-mediated political economy.
Version 0.5 restates what makes the program extensive and how extent is compared. Extent is counted in eight unit classes: works; documents engineered to be assembled by AI summarizers, and their placements on surfaces; public tests; observations; surfaces; components a reader can run; elicitations, the compositions in which the systems the program studies perform its object on the archive itself; and corrections. A line of work is read as a line, never by one deposit. The program is also read across the domains of its object โ summarizers, knowledge mediation, ontology, political economy, money, meaning, authorship and labor โ across the forms that carry the critique, from argument and instrument to poetry, scripture and image, and into a history of mediation the author dates over 2,600 years, from lyric inscription through custody, edition, canon and coinage. Historical depth becomes a fifth dimension of the mantle.
The comparative measure is the author's: take one node and jump its development across ranges, dimensions and modalities until it will not jump, then compare the cells reached in that multiplicative matrix. A section on evidence under enclosure weighs what is observed, convergent and inferred, and records what only an enclosed system can see against the enclosure rather than the critic. The machine file represents the axes, cells and jumps as data in JSON-LD that converts to RDF.
