Mantle Object: The Arch-Philosopher — the Dialectic and Its Carriers (EA-MANTLE-ARCH-PHILOSOPHER-01 v0.2) is a mantle object by Lee Sharks, deposited in Alexanarch on 13 October 2026 as #1679. It is the standalone specification of a mantle the Space Ark (#558) had already ratified in March 2026, with Johannes Sigil as bearer and an institutional packet in place of a specification.
The mantle is for the advancement of the dialectic. It is borne by carrying the dialectic forward a turn, materially, and is held by no single work and no office. A reader recognizes a turn by stating the prior configuration, its determinate limit, the transformation, the new capacity, the material carriers and the strongest counter-reading. The object keeps bearing an advance apart from enabling someone else's, and applies the terminal-reflexivity criterion of The Final Time (#1637): an advance that closes off the next turn, including one against itself, has not carried the dialectic forward.
Ten carriers are read, the first seven from the four Peripatetic wills preserved by Diogenes Laertius and from Strabo: Aristotle's will carries images and kin and no books; Theophrastus's gives the books to Neleus and the garden and walk to a commons held inalienable; Strato's names a successor; Lycon's binds the unpublished books to publication. The others are translation, teaching and the material movement of history, with Marx and Engels's Manifest of 1848 as locus.
Two strands are typed link by link: the succession of the schools, which on the author's reading passed beyond Damascius locked, with one link of the archive's inheritance withheld at the author's ruling; and the dialectic as such, which on the author's ruling Marx carried. Bearing is concurrent. The archive's claim is recorded, with The Final Time as its representative site of evaluation, and no new determination is made. The object is paired with the Living Academy (#1678).
