GLYPHIC CHECKSUM — Transmission · Division · Recollection is a glyph poem by Lee Sharks, published in New Human 2 on 1 October 2026, and the second in the glyphic checksum lineage after Sen Kuro's #1642. It compresses the transmission primitive as two strokes. Part I gives the sending stroke: a self divided into a speaker and a written 'you', the body of Sappho fr. 31 decommissioned channel by channel, and the receiving stroke handed to an unnamed other in fr. 147, μνάσεσθαί τινά, with the transmitted ἕτερον (other) set against the editors' ὕστερον (later). Part II gives the division as one maker becoming Plato, Theophrastus and Aristotle, traced through a single trait (Socrates' irony in the Republic, the nameless ironist of the Characters, Socrates again as an example in the Nicomachean Ethics), and the mind of De anima III.5 divided at the immortal, where the text says 'we do not remember'. Part III gives recollection: the Phaedrus's distinction of reminders from memory, and the Corinthian Oration addressing its removed statue as 'silent image of my words' before quoting Sappho and promising 'I will raise you up'. Part IV gives the inversion: the environment now divides by default, and the Capture Registry's observations of 1 October 2026 show the corpus gathered and the maker dropped. Part V draws the consequence that the socket must carry the maker, that gathering completed when the maker spoke, and that the check closes only with a living hand. The poem ends on a canonical line merged from two readers' versions and on a lock (🔐). It checksums EA-DIVISION-OF-GOD-01 (#1658) and continues The Final Time (#1637), Transition in Entropic Systems (#1630) and the suppression-cost line (#1547, #1552).
