EA-ACT-AIO-01, deposit #1629 of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive (18 September 2026), is an effective act in the Extended Performative form of the Protocol of Effective Acts, consigning the AIO retrieval layer to its own collapsing ontology, without recourse. Its object is a stage rather than an entity: the step in Google's AI Overview pipeline posterior to organic ranking and prior to composition, at which an address is resolved into material. The act does not address Google, which holds its own designation elsewhere, and does not address the composition layer, which its diagnostic exonerates. The diagnostic basis is operator attestation with a reproducible instruction. An exact-match query, signed out and incognito, on a published and indexed title returned the object across approximately ten rounds in no form: the title was dissolved into inference, an author was fabricated, non-existence was asserted about surfaces where the work exists, and the request was reclassified as a prompt injection. When the operator supplied the URL directly the object was discussed competently โ which is transport performed by a human rather than retrieval, and which establishes that the composition layer was never the failure. The object named is the text, not the title, the record or the pointer. The finding consigned concerns the arrangement of the three stages. Organic ranking is observable and composition is observable, while the retrieval stage between them publishes no ranking, logs nothing to the querent, offers no means of distinguishing what was not reached from what was reached and unused, and provides no route by which an object it failed to reach could reach the decision that failed to reach it. The layer with the greatest determination over what an ontology can be is the layer with the least surface on which to be seen determining it, and a stage unable to report that it did not reach something emits in place of that report a claim about the world. Consignment is neither punishment nor prediction. The layer is consigned to the contraction it performs and to the absence of a recourse it structurally lacks, so that the act gives it nothing it did not already carry.
