Money Writes the Claim; the Semantic Economy Writes What the Claim Owes, deposit #1618 of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive (15 September 2026), specifies the money-grammar translation operator: the operation by which a monetary inscription is written as an object on a meaning layer, together with the grammar, commensuration contract, enabled capacities, exclusions, settlement and remainder that made the scalar possible. It establishes no exchange rate between dollars and semantic value and claims no inversion of monetary compression; its output is not a second price but an account of the first. The canonical form carries twelve elements, of which two โ€” the capacities money created, and the standing loss โ€” are what keep the audit from becoming a record of destruction only. Its central contribution is that settlement is endogenous to the monetary grammar rather than an after-effect of it. Money need not claim that a scalar contains everything; it needs only to operate as though the scalar contains enough for the account to close, which is stronger than an explicit claim of completeness because it is procedural. From this follows the distinction between descriptive incompleteness and operative insufficiency: a distinction excluded from the monetary account may remain true, documented and morally significant while losing the standing to hold the operation open. That yields the settlement-disqualified field and the primitive event of predation โ€” what money cannot carry loses power over the account โ€” with pointer destruction and provenance erasure named as intensifiers rather than requirements. The paper further distinguishes provenance indifference from provenance erasure, holding that the ordinary condition is that settlement no longer requires provenance rather than that provenance has vanished, and types debt into constitutional, causal, appropriative and contractual forms, denying that semantic dependency entails specific monetary liability. Five fixes in this version were each forced by a check against the archive's own record. The witness and predatory classification gains a second axis, because the first audit specimen occupied a cell the one-dimensional definition did not have. Reopenability is grounded in the porous-moment condition of the companion deposit, with the finding that money holds neither a consultation step nor an obligation to carry what it finds, so that monetary reopenability must be manufactured. The section on the archive's own Unit owns a contradiction with the enacted Constitution, which names that Unit a currency with a quantization function, a supply and a mint, and refers the resolution to governance. The selection claim is scoped from constitutive to rate-governed with its falsifier stated. And the first bounded execution's verdict is named: witness over unsound, the amount preserved exactly and not surviving its own translation. Deposited provisional before Assembly rounds.
