What Enters Composition Through the Cards, deposit #1612 of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive (14 September 2026), is a measurement report by Lee Sharks that reads the Capture Registry for a variable it had accumulated without reading: the sources a composition surface presents as its own, classed by origin, over time and by address. The registry is card-rich and organic-poor — 314 of its 588 observations carry a structured card set, while the organic result set is noted in prose on 81 and structured on none — so the profile can say what entered the presented retrieval set but cannot yet separate three phenomena: the archive absent from the organic field, the archive strong organically and rejected at card admission, and the archive admitted and then recoded in composition. On Google AI Overview, 195 observations from June to September, the presented set divides cleanly by whether the entity is in the address: tied addresses admit the archive at a mean share of 0.74 to 0.86 in every month with two zero-archive observations out of 101, untied addresses at 0.26 to 0.53 with sixteen out of 94. Inside that stable asymmetry two movements appear — the tied arm narrows in September to fewer sources and longer answers, nearly all archive-owned, while the untied arm's admitted substitutes become more institutional (Wikipedia, scholarly platforms, code hosts) — which the report reads with the archive's own retrieval theory, the basin states of #695 and the ambient attractor of #172, rather than with the scope hypothesis of #1611. Three findings about the registry itself are recorded: the rel vocabulary drifted between seatings, an entry with observations mirrors its first observation and had been double-counted, and same-date identical card sets are replications, which reduces the longitudinal record from 162 addresses to 49. The report attaches a read-only profile script, its output, and a paired-layer capture schema — organic field, presented retrieval set, composed answer, with retrieval mediation and composition mediation as two measurable transformations, six named diff operations, and the derived measures Organic Admission Survival, Archive Admission Differential and High-congruence Archive Exclusion with the pair rule that would locate the tied/untied asymmetry inside retrieval mediation or in public ranking. The schema is held for ruling; the operator declined to make pairing mandatory, since it doubles paste time and is possible only on Google, and the report notes that the organic field is already present in Google frames kept on the All tab and can be transcribed afterward for the contrast set.
