The Frozen Pre-Registration Ledger of the authorship investigation is an append-only record of what was fixed before each test was run, gathered in one file so that registrations do not proliferate as separate documents and so that their freeze is checkable. Each of its eleven entries carries the SHA-256 of the original standalone registration file it replaces, so that every earlier commit citing those hashes still resolves; dispositions are appended beneath the entry they discharge and never written inside it. The rule the ledger states of itself is that nothing above a DISPOSITION line is ever edited, and the reason is given: pre-registrations cannot live in an appending notebook, because their whole value is that the content was fixed before the test and a hash taken over a file that grows proves nothing about what it contained when the test was run. Among the entries are the registrations behind the six-function transmission specification and the completeness conditions that the derived technical report cites as fixed before any text was assigned to them, together with entries whose dispositions record that the registered test failed or was withdrawn. It is the companion of the notebook (EA-NOTEBOOK-01), which holds the rounds, and of the measurement register (EA-AUTHORSHIP-MEASURES-01), which holds the figures with their conditions.
