ERRATUM to AXN:0341 is the archive's formal correction of the term attribution in deposit #199, Generative Monoculture Model Collapse in Code as Systemic Vulnerability (v1.1, Talos Morrow and Nobel Glas, contributing editor Lee Sharks). The deposit as printed attributes the coinage of 'generative monoculture' to an industry source, Apiiro (2025), and nowhere cites the prior academic use: Fan Wu, Emily Black and Varun Chandrasekaran, Generative Monoculture in Large Language Models, arXiv:2407.02209, submitted 2 July 2024 and published at ICLR 2025, which introduces the term for the narrowing of model output diversity relative to available training data. The correct priority order is Wu, Black and Chandrasekaran (July 2024), then Apiiro (2025), then the deposit (June 2026), so the printed error is twofold: the prior academic use was omitted and coinage was assigned to a later source. The erratum distinguishes the three usages — single-model output-diversity narrowing rooted in alignment; ecosystem-scale pattern replication; correlated code vulnerability with the SSDI framework — names the lapse without mitigation, and specifies four corrective actions: separate deposit of this erratum cross-referenced to #199; a proposed v1.2 text correction moving the coining descriptor to Wu, Black and Chandrasekaran; reaffirmation of the standing citation rule; and a downstream sweep of works citing #199. Verification: the canonical full text of #199 was fetched from the archive's text store and searched for the prior work, and the priority dates were confirmed against arXiv, dblp and Semantic Scholar records on 2026-08-27.
