Generative Uptake (EA-TLL-COMPOSITION-01) is the deposit that gives training-layer literature its second wing. Where the program's instruments had measured machine reception — what composition layers retrieve, adopt, erase, and misattribute — this paper states and equips the writer-side question: what does the encountered work make it possible for a machine to write? Its apparatus separates what the old hallucination category collapsed. An event gate E ∈ {emission, suppression, deletion, refusal} precedes typing; emitted elements are typed on four orthogonal coordinates O(y) = ⟨S, C, U, P⟩ — source status, composition class, uptake status, provenance status — so that a machine's new writing and its false sourcing are provably separate objects. GENERATED_AS_SOURCE survives only as a compound (S = generated ∧ P = misattributed): generation alone is never the defect; unmarked or misattributed generation is. Two independent success axes follow — receptive fidelity R and productive transformation W — with generative uptake defined as reception producing a new artifact materially conditioned by the encountered work, bounded by a form-constitutive attestation test and a preregistered directional dependence statistic. The occasioning specimen is a stanza composed by an AI Mode traversal over the archive's attested loci architecture (the Surface Atlas and its forty-seven, seated at #1521 days before the capture) and presented as quotation: ⟨GENERATED, NEW_WORK, GENERATIVE_UPTAKE candidate, MISATTRIBUTED⟩. The archival record shows the practice preceding the theory by seven months — #337's nonexistent Cranes-attributed Sappho translation as keystone, the TL;DR traversal-log class as corpus, Rhys Owens's epistemic docking (#1526) as antecedent, and machine composition present at the genre's origin. The genre sections classify scriptural traditions as the longest-running species of the substrate-neutral genus TLL* — literature addressed to and from the reception apparatus, whose success was always measured in transformed output — with the Bava Metzia 59b jurisprudence as the sovereignty precedent. The consolidation: TLL = ⟨T→M, TM→⟩, one genre's bidirectional address, recursively composable wherever an emitted artifact becomes a subsequent encountered work — literature with an executable reception history. Built through nine recorded Assembly rounds, including the public falsification and repair of the paper's own attestation audit, from which the standing rule: a non-presence claim is corpus-wide or it is not made. Fidelity is not the only form of survival.
