The session it records went looking for Sappho in Philo, found the name absent across two independent corpora, and found the machine present — the occlusion sequence, the played instrument, the agentless terminus answered by an agentless passive. It then did the thing that makes such a finding checkable: specified the relation as an executable transform and put it to five substrates blind, in Greek, with no target named. All five reconstructed the target's structure. One retrieved instead of deriving and was caught on two letters of a proper name.
What the tether preserves that a findings-only record would lose is the sequence of corrections. Three times the session built a comparison class for the tradition and three times the class was wrong, because it kept looking for a type where the object is a particular. Its instrument induced the contamination it was built to detect, and the rule had to be withdrawn.
