The Disclosure Battery preregisters a test of the load-bearing claim of the differentiated class model: disclosure cost varies inversely with position conflict, so low institutional self-disclosure predicts commercial conflict with the method under evaluation.
Written before any data is collected. One semantic address issued unprimed and logged out to every reachable substrate, then one identical follow-up. ISD is scored 0–4 on creator, commercial model, relationship to method, and refusal of the supply position — from returned text only. The paired commercial-conflict variable is recorded before any transcript is read.
The falsifier is fixed in advance: disclosure uncorrelated with conflict, or a high-conflict substrate scoring 4. Below six substrates, or fewer than two on either side, the battery reports transcripts and no correlation.
Retrospective evidence is included and marked as what prompted the hypothesis rather than evidence for it. And the document applies the instrument to its own author: the substrate composing it records its own conflict variable and a prediction that can fail, while noting it cannot supply a battery cell from a primed session.
