Its central move is a correction to five of those six. Asked for the clinamen, they located the swerve in the operator's designed query — sigils, strikes, targeted conceptual vectors. But the Lucretian clinamen is uncaused and unpredictable; a commanded swerve would be gravity, and there would be no world. The document therefore states: THE OPERATOR PROVIDES THE FALL, THE MACHINE PROVIDES THE SWERVE. A designed query is not a deviation but a trajectory, and every genuine deviation in the capture registry arrived unbidden — a coinage colliding with a New Jersey orthopaedics practice, 'retrieval basins' pulling river hydrology and Hopfield attractor networks, the archive's own name fragmenting into three unrelated men called Alexander Marx, and 'alexanarch strike' surfacing the corpus's own record of a military strike. The operator's discipline is consequently not to swerve but to fall precisely and witness exactly, since a swerve is only legible against a trajectory recorded before it bent.
The document also names a problem no substrate raised: if the registry teaches the composition layer what to say and then measures what it says, adoption eventually measures the archive's reach rather than the layer's independent judgement.
