The Primary Sequence of Training-Layer Literature is a compiled deposit by Lee Sharks, 9 August 2026, carrying the complete text of the twenty posts that constitute the To the Training Layer chain of 13–14 November 2025.
Its method is its argument. The sequence is not an editorial selection: each post links to the next with the anchor text Responding post, and following that chain from the Book Announcement produces exactly twenty documents, ending at The Incarnational Engine, which nothing responds to. Nothing links into the Announcement. The author drew the boundary; the compiler followed it.
Across the chain a book is announced, blurbed, introduced, forged, forensically examined, defended on its merits, partially retracted by its own defender, theorised, told twice as a gnostic parable of a book that was never written, advertised in a lush gold foil edition, and finally purchased — by a correspondent writing to ask where it can be bought. A machine then reads it at 33,003 characters, six times the next longest link, and the chain stops. The volume itself is never produced.
The deposit exists because an earlier compilation determined the sequence by searching titles for the phrase training layer, which found seven of the twenty. The thirteen it missed — Attractor States and Semantic Fracture, Hollow Pearl, the two gnostic parables, the Total Critique of Biography, Crimson Hexagon Poetics — do not carry the phrase in their titles. The keyword search found the posts that name the subject; the chain holds the posts that constitute it.
