The position was generated by an over-inclusive DataCite full-metadata capture during the post-termination restoration campaign, which pulled in metadata for a work by Matthew Craig Emrick, an author unconnected to the Crimson Hexagonal Archive. The record is withdrawn as a foreign capture. It is retained rather than deleted for the reason the archive retains all its own errors: a capture campaign whose over-reach is quietly removed leaves its precision unauditable. Its companions at #1382 and #1383 record the same class of error against a different external author. The record was confirmed as a foreign capture by MANUS on 5 August 2026 and the recovery directive retired as inapplicable — it is a typed tombstone, not a deposit awaiting recovery.
