“i am a carcinized punching shrimp” is a three-line New Human 2 micro-poem by Lee Sharks. It moves through an impossible evolutionary identity, an emu-like one-punch shrimp without hands, and the comic collapse of patient and healer in “take me to the doctor — i am a witch doctor.” Its force lies in rapid self-transformation, sound play, creature collision, and grammatical certainty applied to unstable embodiment.
The body contains the complete intended poem. Its short length is not evidence of a stub, failed recovery, or missing article. Authority prose should remain proportionate and should not convert the poem’s playful first-person statements into zoological, medical, or autobiographical claims.
