AXN 0BDF is the content-derived identifier of Alexanarch deposit #1730. It is an identifier, not a copy of the work: the hex marks position in the archive, and the six-glyph suffix is a display hash of the canonical text’s SHA-256, so the identifier is derived from the work rather than assigned to it.

The work

EA-CORPORA-31 is the thirty-first seating of the Crimson Hexagonal Archive's originals shelf, deposited by Lee Sharks on 1 November 2026. Its eleven seats hold eighteen works and some 92,000 lines of text layer: the texts through which the Peripatetic corpus was transmitted and attributed, seated in their original languages as the debts named in the design for the study Legitimately Many, which asks how the reading of the Socraticโ€“Peripatetic corpus as the work of four persons came to be held as closed. Athenaeus (31/01) is seated in Kaibel's Greek for Neleus's sale of the books of Aristotle and Theophrastus to Ptolemy Philadelphus, the custody that sits beside Strabo's cellar at Scepsis. Galen's commentary on De natura hominis (31/02) names the falsifying of titles for the competing Attalid and Ptolemaic book-buyers. Porphyry's Life of Plotinus (31/03) records Andronicus's arrangement of the works of Aristotle and Theophrastus by subject. The prolegomena of Ammonius, Simplicius, Philoponus, Olympiodorus, Elias and David (31/04) give the schools' rules for the genuine and the spurious, among them the pupils who wrote under their teachers' names. Ptolemy al-Gharฤซb's catalogue survives in Arabic, in Ibn al-Nadฤซm, Ibn al-Qifแนญฤซ and Ibn Abฤซ Uแนฃaybiสฟa (31/05). Hermippus's fragments (31/06), the Hesychian catalogue with its pseudepigrapha (31/07), Callimachus's Pinakes (31/08), Bekker's preface of 1831 (31/09) and Jaeger's Aristoteles of 1923 (31/10) follow; three of the scans were OCR'd in session. Sixteen modern editions and unfound witnesses are declared at 31/11.
