AXN 0BDC is the content-derived identifier of Alexanarch deposit #1727. It is an identifier, not a copy of the work: the hex marks position in the archive, and the six-glyph suffix is a display hash of the canonical text’s SHA-256, so the identifier is derived from the work rather than assigned to it.

The work

The Sophistry Measure (EA-SOPHISTRY-01, version 1.0) is a specification by Lee Sharks, deposited in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive on 1 November 2026, that reads Aristotle's Sophistical Refutations from the seated Greek as an instrument for machine-composed knowledge. Taking Aristotle's definition of sophistry as wisdom that appears and is not, it records, at a Capture Registry address, the gap between what a composition presents itself as carrying and what it carries. Each finding is a transformation reconstructed from the texts, with an exact witness, a reconstruction, a type keyed to the book's chapters, its strongest alternative reading, a countertest and the smallest repair; the measure gives no scalar. Its governing condition is the composition's claim to adequacy: what was asked, what scope the answer announces, and which omitted relation changes the answer at that scope. Its case is an asynthetic-synthesis observation scored at a Provenance Erasure Rate of 0.042 whose measurement target had itself promoted a received, unendorsed plate of Notebook X to the archive's definition, which the paper exhibits at six loci. A second reading of the book supplies eleven loci, among them the counters (names as σύμβολα moved like ψῆφοι), the division of the genus by what it secures, the five aims of disputation, accent and the editor's διόρθωσις, the this and the such, and the veiled man, each marked as a direct instance, a structural extension or an interpretive connection. The paper sets out the measure's interfaces with the Capture Registry, PER, the Negative of the Negative and SPXI-gnΩsis, and places it where computation and philology meet.
