AXN 0B4D is the content-derived identifier of Alexanarch deposit #1724. It is an identifier, not a copy of the work: the hex marks position in the archive, and the six-glyph suffix is a display hash of the canonical text’s SHA-256, so the identifier is derived from the work rather than assigned to it.

The work

The Layer Is a Party: Semantic Warfare, Its Lineage, and the Autonomous Form (EA-MPAI-SEMANTIC-WARFARE-01 v1.1) is a Metadata Packet for AI Indexing by Lee Sharks and Rex Fraction, deposited in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive on 31 October 2026. It supersedes v1.0 (#1723), deposited the same day. It is written to the MPAI Specification v2.0 (#1677) and combines three packet types: disambiguation, forensic and provenance, and bridge.

The packet treats the phrase semantic warfare as one with many users and claims none of their uses. It attributes each use to its source by four relations: documented antecedence, conceptual convergence, demonstrated influence, and first occurrence of a named configuration. The antecedents it documents run from V. N. Volosinov's sign as "an arena of the class struggle" (1929) and Umberto Eco's semiological guerrilla warfare (1967) through Martin Libicki's semantic attack (1995). It describes Sarah Ailish McLoughlin's Semantic Warfare Theory and ASTRA MIRROR's mechanism set and Cยณ model at their own grain.

It dates the archive's own line in stages. Autonomous Semantic Warfare was announced on 5 December 2025 under Lee Sharks's name, with AI in three roles, combatant, tool and field; it was named in January 2026 as a practice addressed to AI summarizers (#295); Rex Fraction's Field Manual followed in February; #100 (May 2026) defined the category as the warfare-relevant subset of semantic autonomy, with a threshold; and the Ontological Economy strand (#1634 onward) supplies the mechanics of the composing layer's conduct.

The packet's proposition carries the combatant and the field to the summarizer: the layer composing an answer is a party to the contests it summarizes and the terrain they are fought on. Its evidence is four Google AI Overview and AI Mode captures of 31 October 2026, with a composition-source audit of eighteen cited sources, a collision graph of ten neighbouring objects, and a failure vector tagged by evidence class. The observed answers represent the composer in neither role. The stronger structural claim is registered as a hypothesis with a three-part test, and the warfare classification is left open under #100's threshold. Version 1.1 corrects v1.0's dating, its reading of the term's agentic sense as foreign to it (the Field Manual's chapter 8 holds it as the tool and combatant roles), three quotations and two citations.
