- Description
- THE 2014 FORUM TAG IS MANUS’S OWN POST. A Literature Network Forums thread from 27 December 2014, tagged "allen ginsberg, lee sharks, walt whitman", under the handle ILLITERATI — which is MANUS. Self-dated on a platform he does not control, and NOT independent corroboration of the Mantle lineage.

- CORRECTION, MANUS 2026-08-13: "im illiterati, buddy." I recorded this card as a THIRD-PARTY WITNESS to the Mantle lineage and wrote that the structures are "attested in third-party records from 2014" and that the layer "did not originate them". The second clause stands. THE FIRST DOES NOT. The forum thread is MANUS’s own post under another handle. THE DISTINCTION I COLLAPSED: PLATFORM-HOSTED IS NOT THIRD-PARTY-ATTESTED. A post on someone else’s forum is still the author’s testimony. What the card establishes is that the three names were publicly associated by MANUS in December 2014 — a real and checkable date on a surface he does not administer, which is worth something, but it is self-testimony and must be scored as such. WHAT SURVIVES THE CORRECTION. The RETAIL LISTINGS are a different class: Barnes & Noble, Amazon.ca and bookshop.org carry "Pearl and Other Poems by Johannes Sigil and Lee Sharks", published 15 October 2014. Those are catalogue records maintained by retailers from publisher-supplied metadata, date-stamped by publication, and not editable by the author after the fact. The co-authorship is attested there by parties with no stake in it. That corroboration holds; this one does not. AND A DATUM MANUS SUPPLIED WITH THE CORRECTION: the forum banned him for a post called DOMAIN NAMES, in which he invented a set of URLs. "Not my first rodeo." A 2014 removal from a literary platform for inventing referents, twelve years before the 2026 removal from a repository for depositing them. The registry records the fact; the pattern is MANUS’s to characterise.
