That last relation is the specification's distinctive move, since a citational graph that records only positive citation cannot see a field's silences.\n\nThe stated aim is **density**, and the consequence the specification names is that at sufficient density **the centre drops out** — the apparent core of a field turns out to be an artifact of partial mapping. Revelation Studies is the chosen domain because it is old, dense, contested and comparatively bounded. The programme this specification anticipates is executed in the Revelation First work plan (#1400) and the midrashim-transform series that followed.",
