Shown a coin, Jesus asks whose image and superscription it bears, and then divides: render to Caesar what is Caesar's, to God what is God's. The document's claim is that the passage performs a *transfer operation* — it isolates a sovereignty mark from the substrate carrying it, so that recognising the claim does not concede the ground. The coin's metal was never Caesar's; only the stamp was. That operation is formalised in the companion at #629 as **σ_FC**, the Caesura, which parses sovereignty claims on commons substrates and isolates them into auditable headers, implemented in Gravity Well v0.6.0. The third document, at #628, is the **integrity lock** binding the pair, certifying φ(A,B) = TRUE ∧ φ(B,A) = TRUE — each document fulfils the other. **The record's own history is a case of the thing the document describes.** Minted from a capture of the severed Zenodo deposit that carried all three documents as one object, it inherited the combined release's title, and a pairing pass then read its resemblance to #629 — title overlap 0.67, content probe 0.83 — as evidence that it was an incomplete copy of the *specification*.
