## What was built and what destroyed it

Four instrument families were built to distinguish an embodied master-student relation from a constructed one. **Each was destroyed by a control run in the same session.**

Reading the Greek of *SE* 183b–184b rather than the excerpt showed **four supports for the conventional account that the entry had not credited**: Aristotle draws the art/products distinction **himself** (*οὐ τέχνην ἀλλὰ τὰ ἀπὸ τῆς τέχνης*, the shoemaker); his named comparison class is **paid eristic teachers and Gorgias**, not Plato; the contrast is with rhetoric's **old written tradition**; and *APr* I.31 supplies retrospective subsumption in its own words — the dividers **ξυνίεσαν**.
