# The Algorithmic Kernel: An Unfolding Demonstration — The Midrashim Transform, Formal Specification and Interactive Surface (EA-LOGOS-REVFIRST-WS4-DEMO-01 v1.0)

## Description

The interactive demonstration specified by Workstream 4 of the Revelation First work plan (deposit #1403): the midrashim transform M rendered operable — five canonical instances (Letters→Epistles, Lampstands→Ecclesiology, Lamb→Atonement, New Jerusalem→Eschatology, Beast→Political Theology), bidirectional per the work plan's canary, with the falsification protocol carried openly and the claim discipline of the parent monograph (comparison between inferences; symmetrical burden). Surface: https://revelationfirst.com/unfolding/. Lineage: deposits #407 (The Revelation Room: Ground Truth and Algorithmic Unfolding) and #639 (Holographic Kernel).

## Falsification Conditions

Identify NT passages that cannot be derived from Revelation through any plausible transform — these are the counterevidence. Parent monograph conditions remain in force above this instrument.

## 1. What this is

The interactive demonstration specified by Workstream 4 of the Revelation First work plan: a formal computational/literary demonstration showing how each major New Testament text could be generated — in structural terms, not verbatim — from Revelation's seed material through a series of named transformations. Input: a Revelation passage. Output: the NT texts it generates, with the transform steps visible.

The claim discipline is the work plan's own, carried onto the surface verbatim in kind: this does not claim to demonstrate historical fact. It demonstrates that a competing inference — compositional priority of the Apocalypse — accounts for structural features of the NT corpus, and it renders that inference operable. The comparison is between inferences. The burden is symmetrical.

## 2. The transform

Define the midrashim transform **M** as the operation that takes a compressed theological-literary structure in Revelation and unfolds it into an elaborated form in a later NT text. The work plan's canary states the deeper property: *the midrashim transform winds both directions through the Johannine aperture.* The demonstration therefore carries both directions: **M** (unfold: kernel → corpus) and **M⁻¹** (compress: corpus → kernel), the latter being the operation the Holographic Kernel deposit (#639) performs on the argument corpus itself.

## 3. The five canonical instances (per Workstream 4)

**M₁ — Letters → Epistles.** Seed: Rev 2–3, the seven letters. Target: the Pauline/Deutero-Pauline epistolary corpus. Steps: EXTRACT the address–commendation–correction–promise structure; EXPAND from a few verses to a full letter; SPECIFY with situational detail; RETAIN the basic form.

**M₂ — Lampstands → Ecclesiology.** Seed: Rev 1:20, seven lampstands as seven churches. Target: Body-of-Christ theology (1 Cor 12; Eph 4). Steps: EXTRACT the image of distinct-but-unified communities; TRANSPOSE from visual symbol to theological argument; ELABORATE membership and unity as doctrine.

**M₃ — Lamb → Atonement.** Seed: Rev 5, the Lamb who was slain. Target: Pauline atonement theology (Rom 3:25; 1 Cor 5:7). Steps: EXTRACT the throne-room image; UNFOLD into systematic soteriology; FIX the sacrificial referent in doctrinal formula.

**M₄ — New Jerusalem → Eschatology.** Seed: Rev 21–22, the descending city. Target: eschatological hope across the corpus (1 Thess 4; 1 Cor 15; 2 Pet 3). Steps: EXTRACT the architectural vision; NARRATIVIZE into expectation; DISTRIBUTE across parenetic contexts.

**M₅ — Beast → Political Theology.** Seed: Rev 13, the beast from the sea. Target: the powers-and-principalities framework (Rom 13; Eph 6:12). Steps: EXTRACT the specific political allegory; GENERALIZE into a theological category; ABSTRACT the adversary from empire to structure.

## 4. Falsification protocol (per Workstream 4)

The demonstration carries its own counterevidence instrument: identify NT passages that cannot be derived from Revelation through any plausible transform — these are the counterevidence. The surface states this criterion openly and presents the transform graph as the object to be broken, not merely admired. A passage class that resists all plausible transforms weighs against the thesis; the falsification conditions of the parent monograph (secure earlier dating of any NT document; demonstrated reversal of the structural parallels; post-70 compatibility of the internal evidence without special pleading; syntactic impossibility of the ἑωράθη ambiguity) remain in force above this instrument.

## 5. The surface

Single-file interactive HTML at https://revelationfirst.com/unfolding/ under the Mandala Surface Protocol contract: kernel panel (five seeds, selectable), transform panel (steps animate in sequence, direction toggleable per §2), unfolding panel (target passages, public-domain text), an SVG transform graph (kernel at center, five radial unfoldings), the falsification protocol, and the claim-discipline block. Machine layer: `transforms.json` alongside the page carries the full specification as data; JSON-LD declares the surface a LearningResource based on deposits #1403, #407, #639. Scripture quotations from public-domain English text, kept brief; Greek key-terms transliterated inline.

## 6. Status

Built and deployed 2026-07-28 under MANUS direction, TACHYON executing. Workstream 4's "live demonstrations" item moves from planned to live at this deposit's date; the formal-specification and visualization items are carried by this document and the surface jointly; the falsification item is open by design.
